GoldFlare Solar

Commercial and residential

Solar removal and reinstallation for roofing work.

When a roof needs repair or replacement and solar is already on it, the system has to come off, stay protected, and go back correctly. GoldFlare coordinates that solar scope for commercial and residential projects. Texas is the primary market.

Commercial solar removal and reinstallation

Commercial roofing already has a production schedule. Existing solar adds a second scope that has to move with it. GoldFlare documents the system, removes and protects the equipment in the agreed scope, and resets it after the roof is ready.

That work shows up on commercial buildings, multi-building properties, facilities, and portfolio programs. The standard is the same from one roof to repeat work across a property group.

Residential solar removal and reinstallation

A home reroof or repair should not turn into an improvised solar project. Homeowners and their roofers need the panels removed, protected, and reinstalled as a defined scope, not a last-minute problem on the roof.

GoldFlare treats residential detach and reset as real project work: document the system, remove and protect it, reinstall after the roof is ready, test, and close out. The job is smaller than a commercial array. The discipline is not.

What the solar scope can include

The exact scope follows the project. These are the kinds of work GoldFlare performs when they are part of the agreed job.

  • Pre-removal documentation of the system as found
  • Shutdown before removal, when the project requires it
  • Module and panel removal
  • Organization, protection, and storage of the components in the agreed scope
  • Racking and mounting work associated with the reset
  • Roof attachment areas and penetrations disturbed by GoldFlare's work
  • Reset and reinstallation
  • Electrical reconnection associated with GoldFlare's work
  • Startup, testing, and monitoring verification where it applies
  • Recommissioning
  • Documentation and closeout

When the project calls for more

Some jobs also need work that depends on the site, the utility, or the original system. GoldFlare includes or coordinates those items when they are part of the agreed scope. They are not a blanket promise on every roof.

  • Permitting, when the project requires it
  • Utility coordination, when the project requires it
  • Manufacturer coordination, when it is part of the agreed scope
  • Electrical work the project requires, coordinated as required
  • Damaged modules or components, when they are in the agreed scope
  • Optimizers, microinverters, and other project-specific equipment

How a project moves

From a house to a large commercial array, the sequence stays recognizable. Roofing production continues in the window between detach and reset.

  1. 01 Assess

System, roof scope, equipment, access, and project requirements.

  2. 02 Plan

Solar scope, shutdown, sequencing, documentation, and schedule windows.

  3. 03 Document

System mapping, equipment records, photography, and asset tracking.

  4. 04 Detach

Controlled removal and protection of PV equipment.

  5. 05 Roof

GoldFlare coordinates around the roofing production schedule.

  6. 06 Reset

Reinstallation with appropriate hardware and system restoration.

  7. 07 Recommission

Reconnection associated with GoldFlare's work, then testing and verification.

  8. 08 Closeout

Photos, project records, status, and final documentation.

Closeout

Closeout is professional and streamlined. A typical package includes completion photos, the warranty package, and the completion documentation that fits the job.

The point is a clear record of the work. It is not an engineering binder the project does not need.
